How Ironic. My strategy for surviving the tough times was to dance Tango. And what is the first thing to take a hit? Tango of course.
Let’s face it. It breaks all the rules of keeping a safe distance and not touching or breathing on others.
Under normal circumstances, dancing is one of the healthiest activities you can do, both medically and psychologically. Allow me to reference an excellent blog to this effect by Mark Word.
But of course, these are not normal times.
So I am going to take a break, even from blogging. It seems to just be rubbing salt into the wound, to write about Tango when we can’t dance it.
For all you of in those parts of the world where up close and personal is not fraught with peril, continue to shake your booties. The rest of us will sit at home, wilting with envy.
Hasta luego.
P.S. No one I know to date has been infected, so I am not addressing this issue with what might seem a more appropriate level of care and concern. Obviously, not being able to dance is a minor inconvenience relative to the trajedy and disaster that many people are experiencing. Our prayers go out to all.
